Home Sweet Home
It has been a week and a day since I have landed back in the U.S.A., back in Ameerricahh. Being back made me realized how much I miss home and my family but at the same time, I do miss Europe a lot. I miss my life and routine and how things function there. Life at home seems so much slower and quiet. I don’t wake up hearing czech, no more sights of trams, metros, or 18th century buildings....
Nashledanou Praha
Currently at the airport about to broad my the plane and thinking how 3 months in Praha have gone by so quickly. Time flew by. It was very sad leaving. Even though I am looking forward to going home to my family and friends and sort of NCSU campus, I still feel like I am leaving something that is good; and that I should just stay here forever. Guess we all have to return back to the real world at...

Petrin Hill
Petrin Hill is the place to be once spring time comes around. It is like a big park/hill that you can walk or take the furnicular up to the top. If you do want to wonder to the top of the hill, there will be an Observation Tower. The Observation Tower is a small version of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. You can go all the way to the top of the Observation Tower to see Praha from above.
When spring...

Valašský Frgál
eastboundbreakdown:
we made a yummy dessert in culinary arts called valašský frgál which is a moravian sweet cake. it has lemon zest in the dough, and toppings of almonds, raisins, plum marmalade, tvaroh (cheese sort of like ricotta), and a crushed poppy seed milk and sugar mixture. so good.
a little late
I feel terrible for not blogging about my adventures these past few days. It’s hard to blog with the internet connection not that great at the Pension; and after school, I just want to relax. Please forgive me, I will try to do better. So last Sunday we went to see Swan Lake at the Statni Opera. The ballet was so beautiful. I am so jealous of the dancers. I wish I can dance and move like...
czech 1, 2
So this is my 4th day here but it feels like I have been here for a much longer time. Either time seems to be passing by fast or I am learning so much in these past days. There is only 3 metro line and it is the easiest to learn. Less far more difficult then London and Paris. The metro stations are clean and each station’s has a different color block theme going on. In the past two days, I...
Up Up Here I Go
Can not believe it is time for my journey. Whoohoo! Two packed suitcases under 50 lbs, a carry on bag, a backpack, and I am all set. I really tried my best to pack light but it is impossible. We are talking about three months in two suitcases here. My flight is leaving at 8:10 p.m. and so going to be at the airport by 6. So excited to to see my travel buddy, Meredith. I’m glad to have...
To Praha
The way I see it is that life is wonderful. It is fun and exciting. It is spontaneity of tears, laughters, and moments. One moment at a time. Enjoy and carry on. That is my plan. Here is to 4 more days until my journey to Praha, Czech Republic.
